Peter is consistently taking the initiative to excel. With minimal guidance, he is able to navigate and execute the tasks necessary for his research while enhancing the capabilities of the systems engineering program. Specifically, Peter was able to deploy a demonstration to the Cummins 6.7 L engine in the engines lab at CSU’s Powerhouse Energy Campus to create a challenge problem for the DARPA Assured Micropatching program. The video of this deployment caught the eyes of research scientists at NASA Goddard and they are considering this example as part of their testing and demonstration suite. Furthermore, Peter was able publish a paper at the SAE World Congress Experience in April of 2022. He’s on track for a timely graduation.
