Steve Simske presents paper on illicit supply networks at virtual international conference

Steve Simske, professor in systems engineering, participated in the 18th International Conference on Information Processing and Management of Uncertainty in Knowledge-Based Systems, which was originally planned to be hosted in Lisbon, Portugal from June 15 – 19.

Simske, along with several co-researchers, presented via Zoom. They discussed work on illicit supply networks as part of a panel about machine learning, moderated by Thomas Runkler, professor of computer science at Technische Universität München.

The presentation titled “On the Analysis of Illicit Supply Networks using Variable State Resolution-Markov Chains” was presented with Jorge González Ordiano, Lisa Finn, Anthony Winterlich, and Gary Moloney.
