Beginning Fall 2019, our senior undergraduate students prepared their capstone projects to be presented on April 24, 2020 at Engineering Days (E-Days), a long-standing tradition of CSU excellence which allows senior undergraduate students an opportunity to showcase the completion of their senior design projects to faculty, family, industry representatives, and peer.
Due to COVID-19, senior design work was truncated in March and further in-person work was ruled out for the remainder of the spring semester. In addition, E-Days was cancelled. However, that did not stop the School of Biomedical Engineering from offering its students with an opportunity to present their hard work. On April 24, the SBME Industry Advisory Board provided virtual evaluations of the presentations. After viewing the students’ senior design posters and video presentations, board members met with the student teams virtually via Microsoft Teams and critically evaluated their projects on technical content, presentation, creativity, and overall impression.
We are extremely proud of our students’ hard work and achievements during this unprecedented time. Congratulations!
