Hamid Sharifan

Post-Doctorate Fellow

Hamid is a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering at Colorado State University (CSU). He serves the editorial board of the Journal of Material Science and Application. His contributions to reviewing for the environmental Journals have been recognized by the top reviewer award from the Journal of Water Environment Research and Publon. He received his teaching certificate from the National Science Foundation (NSF) Center for Learning and Teaching in higher education(CIRTL).

Education

  • He earned his Ph.D. degree with a specialization in the physicochemical interactions of metallic oxide nanoparticles with plants, soil, and hydroponic system from Texas A&M University.  During his MSc degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering, he worked in the environmental fate of organic UV filters at Texas Tech University. He also received an MSC degree in Environment and Process Engineering from Stuttgart University in Germany.
