sister group of AIChE, in which the team designs a car that runs on a chemical reaction. We are expected to be able to modify the reaction that powers the car and\/or the stopping mechanism after we learn the distance it will be expected to traverse, which is given on competition day. The competition takes place at the regional AIChE conference each spring, and the top teams are invited to attend and compete at the national AIChE conference in the fall. <\/span><\/h4>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Our members are undergraduate students from multiple majors, including but not limited to mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and of course, chemical engineering. In the past, we have powered the car using a hydrogen fuel cell.
