Education abroad opportunity for new students

A unique opportunity for incoming, first-year MECH students to earn credit in Berlin, Germany with a MECH faculty member.

Start: Fall 2020

Location: Berlin, Germany & CSU campus

3-week experience (10-12 days abroad)

Visit relevant industry sites including the BMW Motorcycle plant, Berlin Brandenburg Airport, Deutsche Bahn

Explore historic sites including Berlin Wall Memorial on Bernauer Strasse, German National Parliament, the Holocaust Memorial, Charlottenburg Palace, and the German Technical Museum

Connect with mechanical engineering professionals and students from a German university

Intensive lectures for 1 week on CSU campus prior to departure

Lecture series in global classroom while abroad in Berlin

Continued connection with faculty member post-program to complete a semester project
