Mechanical Engineering

Zach graduated with a Master of Science from Colorado State University in Fall of 2021. During his studies, he gained extensive experience applying thermodynamic, heat transfer, and fluid dynamic principles to real world systems, primarily electronics cooling.

Zach spends half of his time commercializing advanced cooling technology for microelectronics. He is currently performing market research and improving the TRL of the technology.

With the other half of his time, he helps manage the mechanical engineering laboratories. In the thermal fluids and aerospace lab, he builds new experiments and helps write laboratory manuals. For the other labs, he sets up experiments, ensures the data acquisition and instrumentations are working, and fixes breakdowns. He is a resource for engineering guidance, and applied engineering.
