Toni-Lee Viney is a dedicated advocate for student success and global education at Colorado State University. Throughout her tenure at CSU, Toni-Lee has driven significant system and process enhancements, resulting in increased student access to high-impact opportunities. She is passionate about elevating global experiences for students to integrate into their educational journey. She launched and co-led the Berlin Bridge program, one of CSU’s first education abroad experiences for new incoming students, leading the way for similar programs to emerge. She also established a partnership with Semester at Sea (SAS) to offer engineering courses on SAS voyages and recently served as the Registrar/Advisor on the fall 2023 SAS voyage.
In her previous roles, Toni-Lee taught public speaking to CSU students and served as an academic advisor in the College of Liberal Arts and College of Business before joining the Department of Mechanical Engineering. She has developed and supported numerous programs that enhance student success, community, and access, including the statewide Associate’s Degree in Engineering Science as well as the Adams State Partnership.
As the Chair for the Administrative Professional Council, Toni-Lee advocated for employees and supported the creation of the supervisory development program, affordable housing initiative, and Principles of Community, among others. She loves the CSU community and the myriad opportunities for collaboration.
Toni-Lee is an alumna of CSU with a Master’s in Communication Studies. She earned her B.A. in Communication Studies with a minor in Spanish from Ripon College (Ripon, WI). Committed to the CSU community, Toni-Lee enjoys the opportunities for innovation and is dedicated to empowering students.
