At the OBRL, Lucas facilitates in the testing and research of industry sponsored projects as well as student research projects. Lucas has been working in the OBRL full time since 2017 after graduating from Colorado State University with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.

Throughout working at the lab, Lucas has gained a large amount of knowledge and experience in areas of the lab including biomechanical testing, Micro-Computed Tomography, histology processing methods and microscope slide analysis techniques (histomorphometry).
