Overview

The Master of Engineering, Plan C, Engineering Management Specialization is an on-campus or online degree program designed for continuing students or engineering professionals looking to develop the industry-specific skills needed to succeed in leadership/management roles within the field of engineering. This is a coursework-only degree program with no thesis requirement. Students in this program complete the below coursework to meet the program requirements.

Note: Engineering Management is a specialization in the College of Engineering, Plan C, Master of Engineering degree; therefore, the Engineering Management title only appears on the student’s transcript and not on the final diploma.

Requirements

Students are required to complete:

  • Minimum 30 total credits of regular coursework
  • Minimum 24 credits, taken at CSU, that are 500-level or above
  • Minimum 21 credits taken after program admission
  • Minimum 15 credits of MECH prefix coursework
