Bonnie Roberts received her B.S. in Mechanical Engineering in 2005 and her Ph.D. in 2017 from The University of Texas at Austin. Dr. Roberts was employed as an Engineering Scientist Associate at Applied Research Laboratories and worked as a consultant for GE Energy, prior to entering graduate school. Before joining CSU, Dr. Roberts was an Instructor at the University of South Florida and a Lecturer at The University of Texas at Austin. Dr. Roberts enjoys being a part of undergraduate student education and helping students reach their full potential. She has taught such classes as Thermal Fluid Systems, Numerical Methods, Programming Concepts, Experimental Fluid Mechanics, and Engineering Design. Her principal areas of interest are Thermal Systems, Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer, Building Energy Efficiency and Sustainability, as well as Fire Science/Combustion.
