landing of flies (Lead by Dr. Cheng at Penn State).<\/p><\/li><li><p>08\/2019: Ben Pawlowski defended his master thesis on \u201cModeling, Simulation, and Control of Soft Robots\u201d.\u00a0<\/p><\/li><li><p>04\/2019: Our group members win several awards:<\/p><ul><li><p>Brandon Tighe wins 2nd place at the Multicultural Undergraduate Research Art and Leadership Symposium (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.murals.colostate.edu\/home\">MURALS<\/a>) as well as the junior researcher award on E-days.<\/p><\/li><li><p>Jordan Julian receives high honors in Celebrate Undergraduate Research and Creativity Showcase (<a href=\"https:\/\/curc.colostate.edu\/index.cfm\">CURC<\/a>) for his research on walking robots.<\/p><\/li><li><p>The NASA robotic mining team supervised by Dr. Zhao selected as the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.engr.colostate.edu\/me\/2018-2019-e-days-senior-design-showcase-winners\/\">1st place mechanical engineering senior design
