\ud83d\ude00<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>2022-12-14<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0 The team of Dr. Zhe Cheng, Dr. Andriy Durygin, and Dr. Vadym Drozd, in collaboration with Miami Dade College (MDC) as well as Purdue University, has been selected to receive an <a style=\"color: #000000\" href=\"https:\/\/science.osti.gov\/-\/media\/funding\/pdf\/Awards-Lists\/FY22-FES-RENEW.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">award from the DOE Fusion Energy Science (FES) program<\/a> to promote education and research on additive manufacturing for potential applications in fusion energy science &amp; engineering<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>2021-08-16<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0 The team of Dr. Zhe Cheng, Dr. Andriy Durygin, and Dr. Vadym Drozd has been selected to receive an award from the DOE Basic Energy Science (BES) division to carry out research on fundamentals understanding of flash sintering for highly conductive high-temperature ceramics<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>2020-08<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0 Santanu graduated with MS in Materials Science &amp; Engineering! \ud83d\ude00<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>2019-12<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0 Jose graduated with MS in Materials Science &amp; Engineering! \ud83d\ude00<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>2019-02-14<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0 Dr. Zhe Cheng has been selected to receive the NSF CAREER award to carry out research on fundamentals and new materials development for hydrogen electrode of intermediate temperature proton conducting solid oxide fuel cells (PC-SOFC)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>2019-01-07<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0 Shichen started as a postdoc researcher in Dr. Kevin Huang group at University of South Carolina\u00a0 \ud83d\ude00<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>2018-11-05<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0 Junheng started as a research scientist at Storagenergy Technologies, Inc.\u00a0 \ud83d\ude00<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>2018-10-22<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0 Shichen successfully defended his Ph.D. dissertation!
