Every year, each faculty member in the College of Engineering performs, on average, more than $550,000 in sponsored research. If your company is faced with an engineering challenge to overcome, or needs an answer that research could provide, consider commissioning our engineers to perform your project.
One recent example of fruitful industry/university partnership is a project between engineers at CSU and Ball Aerospace, where members of both groups are working together to develop a demonstration prototype microwave radiometer for sensing the atmosphere from satellites, which will ultimately improve weather forecasting. Projects like this one provide critical information to industry, collaborative opportunities for faculty members, and research experience for graduate students.
