Dr. David A Randall

Professor Randall joined Colorado State University, Department of Atmospheric Science Faculty in 1988. Prior to that Dr. Randall held positions at MIT and NASA. Professor Randall's current research focus on modeling studies of clouds and their role in the global climate system. These activities are organized around numerical simulation of the global atmosphere. On-going projects include development of improved cloud parameterization methods, numerical experiments to determine the role of clouds in maintaining the present climate, and an investigation of the role of clouds in climate dynamics.
