Prof. Pasricha was invited to deliver a talk at the National Science Foundation Computing Community Consortium (NSF/CCC) Workshop on Extreme Scale Design Automation, held on June 2-3, 2013 in Austin, Texas. The workshop focused on a broad set of challenges facing the electronic design community, and how these challenges impact the design and fabrication of new electronic systems, both with conventional CMOS and with emerging technologies.

Prof. Pasricha gave two talks that shed light on the challenges of electronic system design with many billions of transistors. His talks were titled, "Design Automation Challenges at the Extreme Scale: A System Level Perspective" and "Design Automation for Emerging Technologies: An Interconnect Perspective."
