High Speed System Simulation (HSSS) Laboratory

The HSSS Laboratory is dedicated towards answering the current and challenging questions regarding the computer aided analysis and design automation of high speed systems. While our work has primarily focused on high speed circuits and electronic packaging, current research activities include more in the fields of computational electromagnetic, electro-thermal and even fluidic systems.

Ongoing projects are dealing with the following broad topics:

  1. Uncertainty quantification in high speed interconnects and electronic packaging, microwave circuits, RF systems, and computational fluidic systems
  2. Global sensitivity analysis in presence of massive multidimensional uncertainty
  3. Parallel algorithms for stochastic and deterministic simulation of engineering systems
  4. Numerical and mathematical approaches for multi-body, multi-scale, multi-physics simulation of integrated mcirosystems
