Associate Professor Becki Atadero has been selected for the CSU Faculty Institute for Inclusive Excellence Diversity Impact 
Award. The award recognizes one Faculty Institute for Inclusive Excellence Fellow who has actively transformed their classroom and positively influenced the campus climate.
Her citation reads: Dr. Atadero was chosen as the recipient of the FIIE Impact Award for her incredible work advancing DEI in engineering and infusing social justice centrally within her curricula. Dr. Atadero was chosen as the recipient of the FIIE Impact Award for her leadership in DEI in her college and discipline. She was selected for her groundbreaking work advancing DEI in STEM and her outstanding work as the lead investigator on two National Science Foundation projects centered on creating inclusive and socially just curricula in undergraduate engineering courses. Her dedicated service as a member of the Strategic Planning Development Committee in the Walter Scott, Jr. College of Engineering leading discussions on how to intentionally build DEI as a foundational component of the work of the college.
