The following scenes are from a bike trip my brother and I took in the fall of 2012. They are along three connected trails: the Great River State Trail, the La Crosse River State Trail, and the Elroy-Sparta Trail.

We started at the north-west end of these three trails and biked south and east; hence, the photos start in the town of Trempealeau and end in Elroy.

A fourth trail, the 400 State Trail, then continues on eastward. We biked it in 2013 and photos along that trail are covered on a separate page.
