The Old Abe State Trail was the first trail my brother, Sophus, and I did in the Fall of 2013. After arriving in Chippewa Falls, we biked north for about 10 miles and returned to our hotel in the late afternoon. The trailhead was difficult to locate, but with the help of a very friendly person we found it and the photos begin there.
