other information I lived in Colorado to mid 1983, self employed and working odd jobs in EP and Greeley. Moved to Arizona late 1983 to expand my optical gadget business (Versacorp) and self-educate myself in related types of engineering. Moved to California in 1992 to work at JPL. Acquired 9 patents for optical widgets and wrote an astrophotography book in 2000, published by Springer-Verlag. Interests include amateur astronomy, photography, image processing, and “chasing” total solar eclipses. Still have Longs Peak on the brain, so at some point I may try to retire in EP - if “real” weather still agrees with me then.
