I am an Assistant Professor in the department of electrical and computer engineering at Colorado State University.

I am currently looking for PhD students interested in: computer architecture, computer systems, and applied machine learning to computing system design. Motivated students with a background in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science are encouraged to apply. Interested students should send CVs to Ryan.G.Kim[at]colostate[dot]edu.

I got my Ph.D. and B.S. degrees from Washington State University under the direction of Prof. Partha Pande (WSU) and Prof. Radu Marculescu (CMU).

Research Interests

My research interests focus on scalable, fully-adaptive many-core system design. This includes machine learning to accelerate and improve EDA techniques, machine learning for holistic run-time control, scalable power management, and network-on-chip.
