June 27, 2015. CSU team (John Whitmore, Joe Pointer, Shawn Nicholson and Geoff Pietz) win the Dr. Gil Moore Award for Innovation at the 2015 Intercollegiate Rocket Engineering Competition for their successful launch and recovery of a 400 lbf thrust hybrid rocket. Click here for video.

June 15, 2015. Research grant entitled "Autoignition of Liquid Hydrocarbon Droplets in Lean, High Pressure Natural Gas Mixtures Using a Rapid Compression Machine" received from the National Science Foundation.

February 10, 2015. Results from field campaign for natural gas gathering and processing methane emissions project published today in Environmental Science and Technology.

October 15 , 2013. CSU awarded $1.65 Million from Environmental Defense Fund to lead a study aimed at Quantifying Fugitive Methane Emissions from the Natural Gas Gathering and Processing Sector.

October 15 , 2012 . Research grant entitled "Achieving Tier 4 Emissions and Efficiency in Biomass Cookstoves" awarded from DOE in response to the FOA Technology Research, Development and Tools for Clean Biomass Cookstoves (DOE FOA-0000709).
