CSU VLSI System Architecture Laboratory

The VLSI System Architecture Laboratory at Colorado State University engages in research and educational activities to advance the state of VLSI (Very Large Scale Integration) design.

The research activities in the VLSI System Architecture Laboratory are mainly in the areas of designing and testing of novel VLSI based systems and of VLSI CAD methodologies. These include adaptive silicon, highly reliable VLSI architecture, net-centric design, statistical design and design for uncertainty, and applications of optical interconnects for on-chip communications.

The VLSI System Architecture Laboratory cooperates closely with and supported by our industrial partners which include Hewlett-Packard, Agilent Technologies, and LSI Logic. Research activities are also supported by federal government and state agencies such as National Science Foundation, Colorado Advanced Technology Institute, and Colorado Institute of Technology.
