OUTREACH
Every Semester SWE members put together a youth outreach program for young girls to introduce engineering and show the impact it has in society.
Spring 2011: Volunteered at The Boys and Girls Club program Fundango in Fort Collins and helped children plant seeds and learn more about the earth
Fall 2010: Volunteered at The Boys and Girls Club in Loveland at an event called Fundango and helped the kids make slime
Spring 2010: The Saturday Morning Engineering Club (worked with Little Shop of Physics to show girls how interesting and exciting physics can be with experiments using applications of electricity and magnetism)
Fall 2009: Bridge Building: Civil Engineering
Spring 2009: The Saturday Morning Engineering Club (First time as a SWE Sponsored Event)
