Welcome to the School of Biomedical Engineering!
As you will note in our redesigned web home page, our mission highlights Education, Research, and Collaboration. Biomedical Engineering is a broad field that infuses medical and biological issues with engineering skills and solutions. Collaboration is a central component of our educational and research efforts here at CSU and together with our partners around the world. Whether you want to experience Biomedical Engineering at undergraduate or graduate levels, gather workforce training in regulatory affairs, or participate in-depth by plunging into state of the art research - we can be the right place for you!
Students in our program will learn a wide variety of analytical skills that will prepare graduates to work in industry, government or academia. The programs we offer range from undergraduate and graduate residence programs to an industry oriented program in regulatory affairs and an online Masters of Engineering.
Biomedical Engineering is a fast emerging area of scientific discovery and represents an enormous opportunity for economic growth within Colorado as well as other states and around the world. A new report from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts a 72 percent increase in job opportunities for biomedical engineers by 2018.
