The primary locations for College of Engineering research are:
Engineering Building
The Engineering Building, on the main Colorado State campus, is home to Civil and Environmental Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. Office of the Dean, 202 Engineering, phone: (970) 491-3366, map
Glover Building (Engineering South)
The Glover Building, also known as Engineering South, is home to the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering, as well as several civil engineering labs and computing spaces. Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering phone: (970) 491-5252, map
Engineering Research Center (ERC)
The ERC is an 110,000-square-foot research facility supporting faculty and student projects in civil, electrical, and mechanical engineering. Director: Christopher I. Thorton, phone: (970) 491-8394, map
Motorsport Engineering Research Center
The Motorsport Engineering campus houses faculty, graduate students and undergraduates involved in Motorsport-related research, design and development. The 6-acre site includes four major buildings. The 14,000-square-foot main building houses the majority of the Motorsport-specific laboratories, as well as the Advanced Manufacturing operation and the Composite Materials, Manufacture and Structures Laboratory. The other buildings include the 5,000-square-foot office complex, which includes the Conference and Education Center, the 2,000-square-foot Structural Test Facility and a 3,000-square-foot storage facility. Director: Donald W. Radford, phone (970) 491-8677
Engines and Energy Conversion Laboratory (EECL)
The EECL facilitates, through research and educational programs, the development of new technologies for reducing the emissions and fuel consumption from engines and energy conversion processes. The Laboratory is housed in the 26,000ft former municipal power plant on five acres of land adjoining the Cache la Poudre River, and is located one mile from the main university campus. Director: Bryan Willson, phone: (970) 490-1418, map
Orthopedic Bioengineering Research Lab (OBRL)
The OBRL is an interdisciplinary research and educational effort bringing together engineers, clinicians, biologists, and scientists all over campus. The goal of the laboratory is to provide an environment for undergraduate and graduate education in Biomedical Engineering while advancing treatment and/or prevention of muscular, neuromuscular or skeletal injury and/or disease. Director: Donna Wheeler, phone: (970) 491-4868, map to the OBRL, located in the Veterinary Teaching Hospital
