Research Interests
- Research focuses on laser-based diagnostics and non-intrusive measurement of gases, plasmas, and plasma-surface interactions. These tools are developed and used for studies of atmospheric pressure plasmas, low-pressure plasmas, and plasma sputtering, with application towards plasma science, plasma-processing, and electric propulsion.
- Interests also include laser combustion diagnostics of engines, laser ignition of engines, and laser sensing for security, environmental, and health applications.
