  • Reduction of pollutant emissions from gaseous fueled engines: precombustion chamber development, exhaust aftertreatment (SCR, NSCR, oxidation catalysts).
  • Characterization of alternative gaseous fuels: digester gas,producer gas, coal gas, reformed natural gas.
  • Engine development and operation on straight vegetable oil (SVO).
  • Advanced engine controls: NOx sensors, superturbochargers, variable valve timing.
