The MERC Barbeque Pavillion saw lots of action during the summer. Students who moved to new careers included: Rich Buckley, Doug Gogel, Kengo Goto, Karthik Krishnan, Jake Nelson, Kevin Norman and Bryan O'Rourke.
Dr. Stanglmaier returned for final exams for 2 of his students and enjoyed a barbeque "just like old times". Two interns from ENSIETA in Brest, France spent the summer working at the MERC on a shape memory raceseat project and found the weekly barbeques a good getaway.
