Dr. Edward M. Kasprzak visited CSU's MERC on April 27, 2007 and presented the SAE Industry Lecture: "Tire Testing and Modeling for Vehicle Dynamics". Dr. Kasprzak, from Milliken Research Associates, discussed the CalSpan Tire Testing that has been underway, in conjunction with
Formula SAE Teams around the World. The presentation led to much discussion regarding the ability to use tire data of this type in predictive models. At the conclusion of the lecture Professor Fitzhorn presented Dr. Kasprzak with a small token of appreciation.
