A New Season Begins
CSU Motorsport students, Andy Listes and Karthik Krishnan, both accepted positions in open-wheel racing for the 2007 season.

Gelles Racing: Andy Listes, seen above, was able to leverage his one race internship during the 2006 season into a full-time position with Gelles Racing, based out of Indianapolis. Andy will work with the Gelles Formula Atlantic cars during the 2007 season. He presented a paper on his graduate research work at the December 2006 SAE Motorsport Engineering Conference, entitled: "Race Damper Piston Rod Bending Loads as a Function of Spring Rate".

Forsythe Racing: Karthik Krishnan worked with the ADAMS modeling software during his graduate work at CSU, on a project entitled: "Suspension Geometry Sensitivity Analysis using ADAMS/Motorsport". His ADAMS experience helped him attain an internship during 2006 with Pratt & Miller doing more advanced ADAMS/Motorsport simulations. Karthik has recently taken a position at Forsythe Racing as a vehicle dynamics analyst focusing on the performance of the new Champ Car World Series Panoz DP01.
