CSU Motorsport Engineering students and Faculty attended MSEC 2006 in Dearborn, MI in December 2006. Three CSU faculty members and 13 graduate students were at the meeting to give a total of 13 research papers and to staff the CSU Motorsport Engineering booth at the MSEC trade show.
Of the roughly 70 papers presented at MSEC 2006, the 13 papers from CSU Motorsport Engineering authors were by far the most from any single institution. CSU papers were presented in almost every technical area represented at the Conference. Faculty and students had the opportunity to meet many colleagues involved in motorsports and to better understand the major issues currently of concern to the industry.
