![]() In November 2005 the Motorsport Engineering Program became a formally recognized "center" at Colorado State University. The "Motorsport Engineering Research Center" naming formalizes the facilities and program in Motorsport Engineering. The 10-acre campus has evolved since the program initially moved to the site in fall of 2002. Today, the majority of the Laboratories have been completed in the main research building, and the Annex and Education Center nears completion. Four faculty and over 20 graduate students are formally involved in the Motorsport Engineering program and the facility supports over 40 mechanical engineering undergraduates working on various motorsport related projects, including Formula SAE. |
