Early in the summer of 2005 the Motorsport Engineering Research Center hosted a tour of the facility for Junior High school students. The students had the opportunity to talk to Motorsport Engineering faculty and graduate students and to "try out" the drivers seat in the Formula SAE cars. The facility hosts many such events to help demonstrate the exciting opportunities for students who pursue science and engineering education.
