Three recent CSU graduates were at Long Beach for the inaugural 2004 race on two Champ Car World Series race teams. A fourth graduate remained at team headquarters working on design revisions. Ryan Heimer has been a data engineer with RuSport since before the beginning of last year's championship Toyota Atlantic season. Luke Goldenstein started recently at RuSport and travels with the team. Lucas Weidner, also at RuSport, is a design engineer. Matt Barnes, too, was at Long Beach, as an engineer on the Alex Tagliani car, with Rocketsports Racing. Matt was with Doricott last season in the Toyota Atlantic series.
