Plasma Engineering Research Lab
at Colorado State Univeristy

The Plasma Engineering Research Lab, which is located in the Engineering Research Center on the foothills campus of Colorado State University, has been developed by Dr. Paul J. Wilbur and students who have worked in it over the past 25 years. Research is focused on broad beam ion sources and their components for both space-based and terrestrial applications as well as the performance of surfaces treated using the terrestrial sources.

Current areas of research include:

- Space Ion Thruster Research

- Plasma Contactor Research

- Ion-Beam Processing and Tribology

A list of papers describing research from this lab is also included here.
