Dr. Ben C. Gadomski

Manager, Orthopaedic Bioengineering Research Laboratory

Associate Research Professor

Mechanical Engineering

Dr. Gadomski received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Trine University and his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Colorado State University. Prior to teaching at CSU, Dr. Gadomski developed and patented spinal implants to treat damaged and degenerated spinal conditions and has research experience in the areas of orthopaedic biomechanics including finite element modeling of biological tissues, experimental testing of spinal implants, and the investigation of low-gravity conditions on skeletal remodeling and fracture healing. His most recent research involves investigating the risk of traumatic spinal cord injury during patient intubation procedures.
