Our lab can provide test services related to our research areas. We have experience working with industry and are responsive to confidentiality requirements and other industry needs.

On the plasma engineering side we can perform quantitative sputter yield measurements, deposit layers and films, and conduct related material and surface evaluations.

On the optical measurement side we can perform measurements of optical losses of coatings and substrates. Our use of cavity ring-down spectroscopy (CRDS) provides sensitivity for ultra-low (sub-ppm) losses. We can also develop custom hardware and loss-measurement systems.
