CSU Prof. Scott Denning Offers Solution to Climate Problem, article from The Collegian
Scott Denning explained to almost 300 CSU and Fort Collins community members Thursday night that simple physics demonstrates global warming is undoubtedly occurring and said a new industrial revolution is a solution to the current climate problem. Denning's speech -- which was the finale out of more than a dozen speeches throughout the two-day "What We Can Do About Climate Change" event -- focused on solving the current global challenges.

Featured Video: Charles Shackelford
Dr. Shackelford's research focuses on geoenvironmental engineering, or the intersection of environmental, groundwater and geotechnical engineering. Specifically, Dr. Shackelford focuses on subsurface remediation technology and containment barriers for waste disposal. Students in his program take courses in all three interdisciplinary programs, increasing their flexibility and broadening their background in order to better prepare them for life after graduate school.
