If none of our current projects fit your interested, EWB-CSU is willing to start new projects. All that is needed is a project leader and a few people willing to work on the project. There are three ways to acquire a project:
- Bring your own project to EWB-USA: Chapters can work with a community to submit a project application (501) to the EWB-USA Project Manager. EWB-USA only reviews applications at certain times of the year, and more information is posted on the EWB-USA projects page.
- Apply for an Open
Project: Project teams can review the EWB-USA list of open
projects on their web site, and apply for those projects by submitting
form #502 to the EWB-USA Project Manager. Application deadlines are on
the open projects page.
- Adopt a Research
Project: There are many unsolved problems with developing
countries. EWB-USA always seeking better technologies for implementing
projects around the world. Therefore, they post research project ideas
on their web site. These are real problems that need solutions. Multiple
chapters can work on these projects.
Please contact an EWB-CSU officer before beginning any of these processes and we can help you with the procedures!
