Policy Violation

Violations of the Engineering Lab Policies and Loaner Item Policies will result in the following actions:

  1. The first violation will result in the locking of the user's account until the user meets in person with the ENS Client Services Manager, Lab Manager or Director. Users will receive an email about the violation.
  2. The second violation will result in:
    1. The locking of the user's account per #1 above;
    2. A meeting with the Assistant Dean for Operations and an ENS staff member;
    3. A notification sent to the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs.
  3. The third violation will result in:
    1. The locking of the user's account as in #1 above;
    2. A combined meeting with the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs, the ENS Director, and the student's academic advisor.

Faculty and Staff violations will result in the following actions

  1. The first violation will result in the same actions as the student violation above with the possible addition of the supervisor being notified.
  2. The second violation will result in the same actions as the student violation #1 with the possible addition of the Assistant Dean for Operations and Dean of the College being notified.
  3. Any subsequent violations will result in a meeting with the ENS Director, the Assitant Dean for Operations, and the Dean of the College.
