CSU Showcases Research at First-Ever IS&T Colloquium

Colorado State University students and faculty engaged in Information Science and Technology (IS&T) oriented research shared their work with the university community and industry representatives at the first-ever IS&T Colloquium on April 13-14. Coordinated and sponsored by CSU's Office of the Vice President for Research (VPRIT) and the Information Science and Technology Center (ISTeC), the event attracted speakers from thirteen CSU departments and six colleges, along with 376 attendees from more than 60 corporations and university departments.

116 technical posters and 40 liberal arts posters were submitted for the colloquium, with awards presented to the top poster submissions in categories ranging from technical clarity to breadth of impact. ECE students claimed five of the seven awards at the event.
