Prof. Pasricha's Graduate Students to be Honored at IEEE/ACM Design Automation Conference


Pasricha Head ShotYi Xiang and Pramit Rajkrishna, graduate students in Prof. Sudeep Pasricha's group, have been selected as A. Richard Newton Young Student Fellows at the prestigious IEEE/ACM Design Automation Conference (DAC) to be held in Austin, Texas, June 2-6. These awards are given to outstanding students early in their career in the field of electronic design automation and embedded systems.

Pasricha's graduate students, Shirish Bahirat and Nishit Kapadia, also have been selected to present their Ph.D. research at the SIGDA Ph.D. Forum at DAC. The SIGDA Ph.D. forum is an annual competitive event that selects for presentation at DAC the most promising Ph.D. research in the field of electronic design automation and embedded systems. With an acceptance rate of around 30%, only the best work is featured at DAC, the premier conference in this field.
