Abstract: This work investigates the impact of
demand side management in reducing
environmental footprints. It applies
multi-criteria decision-making
approaches to pare down the
numerous options of demand side
management. the dissertation
performs a power flow analysis on
yearly load profile corresponding to
Fort Collins, Colorado, U.S. to quantify
the effect of demand side
management in diminishing carbon
footprints. Also, this work conducts a
cost benefit analysis to investigate the
economic impact of the decisions
making alternatives.
