Class meets T/R, 9:30am - 10:45am; Military Science Bldg., 115

Course Objective: Our objective is to develop a comprehensive understanding of digital communication over power-limited and bandlimited channels, for applications to wired and wireless communication (storage) over (on) random media. This course is mathematical in nature so students will develop confidence in their ability to solve mathematical problems of analysis and design. Many of their timeless insights and intuitions about communications will be drawn from this course.
