BOOKS:

Currently writing a new textbook on Digital Image Processing. I have signed a contract with the John Wiley and Sons Publishing Co to finalize the book by June 2003. This book consists of six parts and twenty five chapters covering almost all the main areas of DIP. This book can be used both at the undergraduate and graduate levels. In addition, this textbook provides the readers with an appreciation of real-life applications of the DIP area by including several real-life examples. More importantly, this book addresses the critical shortfall of all the available textbooks in this area mainly the fact that they do not utilize the readily available MATLAB toolbox in this area.
