Funding a Scholarship Account
If you would like to support our scholarship program
or establish a new scholarship, there are several ways
to fund department scholarship accounts:
- Outright gifts of cash,
securities or real estate during a donor's lifetime
and/or through an estate plan;
- Contributions of appreciated
stocks and securities, which benefits the donor
from a tax stand point;
- Planned gifts in the form
of a bequest, life insurance, charitable gift
annuity, charitable remainder trust or charitable
lead trust, which can be established with the
assistance of your attorney.
