The funding for CHILL radar facility mostly comes from the National Science Foundation and the State of Colorado.
CSU teamed up with other universities through the National Science Foundation for Collaborative Adaptive Sensing
of the Atmosphere (CASA). Other funding comes from universities and corporations such as: Raytheon, IBM, Vaisala,
Vieux and Associates, EWR Weather Radar Systems and Detect Inc. There will also be donated materials from Hewlett
Packard. They are giving the project a xw9400 workstation with two Nvidia Quadro FX 5600 graphics cards.
