What happened today.

This project is continually changing, being improved, and progressing toward the ultimate goal of having an operational hydraulic hybrid vehicle that is out driving the roads. A more receint and, often times, more updated status can be found in the Timeline section of the web page.
The Last Big Step

Finally got a new computer with the required software that was needed to begin modeling the control systems. This took much longer than expected, so the clock is ticking to get a working control system up and running so that the first test, trial run can happen and diagnostics can be collected to better improve on the designs both mechanically and electronically.

Working on getting the web site up and running. Will need to research what is going on within the different groups in the project so that it can be reported on the web page.

The test skid was moving. See a video of it in action. The majority of the wiring is finished and we are waiting on the bugs to be worked out of the controller software so that we can test the functionallity of the control system. We have also purchased a truck that we will begin to attach the hydraulic equipment and control equipment to. The hope is to have an operational vehicle by E-Days.
